meet the founders

 Virginia (Gin) grew up on Wathaurong country in Ballarat before moving to Geelong 20 years ago. She is a partner and a mother of 2, proudly living and working on Wathaurong country. Gin feels privileged to have worked for many years with the local Aboriginal community, continuously learning culture from community members. Gin also has passion for family and love of the outdoors. 

Fiona is a Yidinji woman who has grown up on Wathaurong country (Geelong). She is a partner, mother to 5 and grandmother to one, proudly living and working on Wathaurong country. Fiona is passionate about her community and family, and strong in her Aboriginal culture. Fiona also loves staying connected to land through enjoying camping whenever the opportunity presents.
